Premium porcelain pavers are our most recommended patio material for most East Bay projects. They replicate genuine natural stone through high definition technology, handle California's temperature swings well, and remain comfortable underfoot in summer heat — a practical advantage for pool surrounds and outdoor dining areas. Large format sizes create seamless indoor to outdoor transitions when paired with interior tile from the same collection.
For clients who want genuine natural stone, our supplier network carries travertine, granite, slate, quartzite, and limestone pavers in a range of colors and finishes. Travertine is our default pool surround recommendation — it stays cool underfoot in full sun and provides natural slip resistance when wet. Quartzite and granite are the most durable options for high traffic areas like driveways.
For stacked stone features — fireplace surrounds, outdoor kitchen facades, garden walls — we use natural ledger panels in travertine, slate, quartzite, marble, and porcelain stone look options. The panel format maintains genuine stone texture while making installation significantly more uniform than individual stone placement.
