What we do

Full-service bathroom remodeling, start to finish

Bathroom remodels require precise coordination of waterproofing, plumbing, tile, electrical, cabinetry, and fixtures all in a tight space where a single mistake can cause water damage that’s expensive to repair. Most problems happen when different trades aren’t communicating or when corners are cut on waterproofing to save time.

Wolf Renovations handles every element in-house. Our team manages waterproofing, plumbing rough-in and finish, tile installation, custom vanity work, electrical, and all finish details under one roof. You get one schedule, one point of contact, and one team accountable for the finished result.

We work on master baths, guest baths, powder rooms, and full primary suite renovations from cosmetic refreshes that update fixtures and tile to complete gut-and-rebuilds that redesign the layout entirely.

Common questions

Bathroom remodeling FAQ

How long does a bathroom remodel take? +
A full bathroom gut remodel typically takes 3–6 weeks from permit approval to completion, depending on scope. Tile lead times and custom vanity orders are the most common schedule drivers. A refresh without structural changes can move faster — sometimes 2–3 weeks. We give you a written schedule before construction starts.
Do I need a permit for a bathroom remodel in Contra Costa County? +
Any work involving plumbing relocations, new electrical circuits, or structural changes requires a permit. Cosmetic updates — new tile, fixtures, vanity in the same location — typically don’t. Wolf files all required permits as part of our process.
Can I use my bathroom during the remodel? +
No — the bathroom is fully out of service during construction. For a master bath remodel, most homeowners use their guest bath during construction. For a single-bathroom home, we work with you to schedule efficiently and can sometimes stage the project to minimize downtime.
What’s the difference between a walk-in shower and a wet room? +
A walk-in shower has a defined shower zone, usually with a glass enclosure or partial wall. A wet room is fully waterproofed throughout — the entire bathroom floor drains, meaning the shower has no enclosure boundary. Wet rooms require more extensive waterproofing but create a seamless, high-end look. We design and build both.
What’s included in the free assessment? +
An in-home visit at no cost or obligation. We look at your existing bathroom, talk through your goals and budget, and give you an honest rough-cost range within 48 hours. No pressure, no sales pitch.
