What we do

Full-service kitchen remodeling,start to finish

A kitchen remodel is one of the most complex projects in any home, it touches plumbing, electrical, structural, cabinetry, and finish work simultaneously. Most homeowner frustrations come from contractors who specialize in only part of that equation, leaving costly coordination gaps.

Wolf Renovations handles the entire scope in-house. From the initial site assessment and 3D design through permit filing, demolition, construction, and final installation, one team owns your project from first call to final walkthrough. You have one point of contact, one schedule, and one accountable partner.

We work across all project sizes from focused refreshes updating countertops, backsplash, and cabinet fronts, to full gut-and-rebuild projects that open walls and redesign the entire layout.

What Bay Area homeowners say

★★★★★

"I was driving when I seen their showroom and walked in as I was already looking to get my kitchen renovated. Once I walked in I knew they were the real deal. Their showroom was stunning and it brought relief being able to see what I wanted in person before I purchased. I renovated my whole kitchen and did my 1st floor flooring and the process was seamless. Eric and his team were informative and had a chat in case any hiccups or issues came up. They kept me updated throughout and the timelines were kept on time. My wife's family came over for new years and were impressed. 10/10 overall experience."

Common questions

Kitchen remodeling FAQs — Bay Area & East Bay

A typical full kitchen remodel takes 8–14 weeks from permit approval to final walkthrough. The breakdown: design and permitting (3–5 weeks), material lead times for cabinets (6–10 weeks, running concurrently), demolition and rough work (1–2 weeks), cabinet installation and finish work (2–3 weeks), countertops and final details (1–2 weeks). We provide a detailed project schedule before construction begins.
Yes, in most cases. Any work involving structural changes, plumbing relocations, new electrical circuits, or changes to the HVAC system requires a permit from Contra Costa County. Cosmetic updates — replacing cabinet fronts, countertops, or fixtures without moving anything — typically don't require permits. Wolf handles all permit applications and inspections as part of our project process.
During active construction, the kitchen is not usable. Most homeowners set up a temporary kitchen in another room — a microwave, electric kettle, and mini fridge cover the basics. We seal off the work area to contain dust and keep the rest of the home accessible throughout the project.
Our free assessment is a no-pressure in-home visit where we look at your existing kitchen, talk through your goals and budget, and give you an honest rough-cost range for the project. There's no obligation and no sales pitch — just information so you can make a good decision. We typically follow up with a rough estimate within 48 hours.
California law limits contractor deposits to 10% of the total contract price or $1,000 — whichever is less. Wolf follows this requirement. Our payment schedule is tied to project milestones, never front-loaded. Any contractor asking for a large upfront payment should be treated as a red flag.
Our project gallery at wolfreno.com/gallery shows before-and-after photography from completed kitchen remodels across Contra Costa County. You're also welcome to ask for references from homeowners in your area during your free assessment.
